What is the purpose of the card?

Support for the U.A.E. nationals working in the private sector by offering special benefits and exclusive offers to Meet their needs and achieve their aspirations, as the cornerstone in developing and Stability of the labour market.

What are the conditions of getting card?

The program member is required to accept the following:

  • Must be a U.A.E. Nationals.
  • Having a Labour card issued by the Ministry of Labour.
  • To be on his job, and spent at least six months going to one facility, calculated from the date of issuance of the Labour card.
  • To be registered in the General pensions and social security or pension fund retirement bonuses for Abu Dhabi.
  • To have his salary converted through wage protection system (WPS) for the last 3 months.
  • To meets the registration form requirement and approved electronically.

How long is the card?

One year renewal

How can an Emarati working in the private sector register in the program?

  • Fill out the form through the Ministry's electronic portal and adopt it electronically by following the following steps:
  • Choose the Absher Initiative from the home page
  • Select the registration of citizens working in the private sector.
  • Enter the business card number.
  • Fill in the form and attach the required documents
  • Read and accept the terms and conditions.
  • Click the Send icon.
  • In case of meeting the conditions, the applicant will be contacted and notified, and the card will be sent to him with the need to prove the identity upon receipt.
  • In the event that the conditions are not met, the case of the application shall be placed under the procedure and the applicant shall be informed that he has not fulfilled.

Is there any conditions for Absher card users?

  • The power is used by its holder only.
  • The card must be received by the beneficiary in person and sent by private postal services to the address mentioned on the registration form.
  • The beneficiary must sign on receipt and show proof of identity.
  • The Ministry will be responsible for the costs of issuance the card and delivery fees in case of issuance and renewal cases.
  • The card is used only for the purposes and places mentioned on the website of the Ministry of Labor.
  • Offers apply to the original prices of products and services and do not coincide with promotional offers and discounts.
  • If the employee changed his work and joined another company; he must apply for a new Absher Card.
  • The Ministry has the right to cancel the card in case of any misuse or mortgage by any party.
  • The Ministry has the right to amend the terms and conditions mentioned in the Guide in case of any need.

  • Read and accept the terms and conditions.

  • If the conditions and criteria are met;, the company will be contacted and informed.
  • If the conditions are not met, the company will be notified to improve their offer.
  • A memorandum of understanding will be signed between the Ministry of human Resources & Emiratisation and the supporting company to start implementing the offer.
