His Excellency, Nasser bin Thani Al Hamli, Minister of MOHRE, called on the private sector institutions to benefit from the privileges of "Telework"; in terms of meeting their job needs and ensuring that their internal works are conducted at the lowest operating costs, which enable them to carry out their national and community responsibility through the recruitment of male and female Emirati citizens.

"The MOHRE has gone ahead with the implementation of the "Telework” system that has had a positive impact on providing job opportunities to meet the expectations and needs of job seekers, especially the female Emiratis, in partnership with the private sector”, His Excellency stressed.

The announcement came recently during his opening “Telework Center” at the MOHRE‘s Customer Happiness Center in Fujairah, accompanied by senior officials of the Ministry.

His Excellency, Nasser bin Thani Al Hamli, in his dialogue with the female Emiratis who are working at the Center, highlighted his great confidence in their ability to accomplish their assigned tasks as intended

The "Telework" system, one of the innovative initiatives implemented by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, aims to create job opportunities for national cadres, especially for unemployed Emirati women residing in remote areas, near their homes, to enhance the work-life balance and save on transportation expenses between remote areas and big cities.

It is a work system; in which an employee performs his/ her duties from sites that are different from the employer's offices. This means that the employee performs their duties from remote sites on a part-time weekly or monthly or full-time basis. First, Part-time working: an employee can divide his/ her work time between the main workplace and remote workplace in equal or different percentages. This may be on a specific number of days per week, weeks in the month or months in the year. Second, Full-time working: this is for the jobs that can be performed on full-time basis from a remote location.

This system is based on a partnership between the MOHRE and the private sector through the conclusion of agreements between them; whereby the Ministry provides fully equipped remote duty stations as well as organized the recruitment open days for Emirati women, in accordance with the said system and granting concessions for the private sector partner companies.

The number of Telework centers established under the memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry and its private sector partners is five, located in Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Al Ain, Khor Fakkan and Al Dhafra.

On the other hand, His Excellency, Nasser bin Thani Al Hamli, visited “MOHRE's Customer Happiness Center – Tawteen” in Fujairah, where he was briefed during his visit on the center’s workflow and the services provided to job seekers for Emirati citizens, including the registration at Tawteen Gate and organizing the recruitment open days as well as the updating of data and participating in specialized programs in career guidance and counseling, training and other services that enhance the employment opportunities for the job seeker.

He stressed the need to provide all the possible facilities and conveniences for the Emirati citizens and job seekers who want to take advantage of the services offered by the Customer Happiness Center – Tawteen, especially with regard to raising awareness of the importance of knowledge of the private sector, as well as career guidance and counseling, training services offered by the center to enable them to have a suitable job opportunity.
