Sixth edition of Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation Organizational Excellence Award launched

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has launched the sixth edition of the ‘Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation Organizational Excellence Award’ under the slogan ‘Hand by hand toward organizational excellence.’

 

 

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has launched the sixth edition of the ‘Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation Organizational Excellence Award’ under the slogan ‘Hand by hand toward organizational excellence.’

 

The award consists of two main categories, these being the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation Medals for Distinguished Employees and the Leading Organizational Unit. Some 28 subcategories are branching off these categories.

 

The ministry has set a deadline of October 30th to receive applications for the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation Medals for Distinguished Employees and the categories emerging from it and December 31st for the Leading Organizational Unit and the categories emerging from it. Results are scheduled to be announced in February 2020.

 

“The award, sponsored by HE Nasser Bin Thani Al Hamli, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, is aimed at improving the performance of the ministry’s staff and organizational units and adopting modern and sophisticated management concepts that focus on the happiness of customers and motivates and encourages the staff to excel through creating a competitive work environment that encourages innovation and establishes pioneering concepts”, said Noura Al Marzouqi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation for Policy and Strategy.

 

The ministry developed the criteria of the award in its sixth edition to be compatible with the required criteria of the fourth generation of government excellence system, she said, adding that the award currently features two main categories from which 28 subcategories are branching off, 14 organizational and 14 individual.

 

Participation in the ‘Leading Organizational Unit’ is mandatory as this category incorporates the following subcategories: Leading Organizational Unit, Most Improved Organizational Unit, Leading Sector, Most Improved Sector, Best Customer Happiness Center-Human Resources, Best Customer Happiness Center-Tawteen, Best Organizational Unit in Enablers, Best Organizational Unit in Innovation, Happiest Work Environment, Best Organizational Unit in Customer Happiness, Best Organizational Unit in Administrative and Financial Governance, Best Organizational Unit in Service Provision, Best Organizational Unit in Smart Government and Best Shared Government Service.

 

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation Medals incorporates the following medals: Best Assistant Undersecretary, Best Organizational Unit Manager, Best Organizational Unit Deputy Manager, Best Customer Happiness Center Manager-Human Resources, Best Customer Happiness Center Manager-Tawteen, Best Head of Section, Best Administrative Employee, New Employee, Field Employee, Technical/Technological Employee, Specialized Jobs, Innovative Employee, Customer Happiness and Young Emirati Employee.
