HE Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, received HE Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri, Qatar’s Minister of Labour, during his visit heading a Qatari delegation from the Ministry of Labour. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations in human resources development and labour, where the Qatari delegation was briefed on best practices and initiatives in the UAE labour market, including the Nafis programme, legislation, and resolutions aimed at enhancing Emiratisation in the private sector. Also, discussions covered the monitoring, awareness, and inspection practices implemented by the Ministry, along with programmes safeguarding private sector workers' rights and entitlements, and various approaches to resolving labour disputes in the country.
