The system aims to enhance quality of life and wellbeing for workers in the UAE and ensure that labour accommodations comply with conditions stipulated in Cabinet Resolution No. (13) of 2009 Regarding Guidelines and General Standards for Collective Labour Housing and its Amenities for accommodations housing 500 workers or more, as well as Ministerial Decree No. (212) of 2014 Approving the General Standards Manual for Group Labour Accommodations Housing Less Than 500 Labourers. In this consultation, MoHRE seeks to develop the Labour Accommodation System in its third edition by collecting feedback from all customers, flagging the main challenges they face with the system, if any, and identifying opportunities for improvement, in an effort to enhance the customer journey. Target Group: • Owners of labour accommodations • Establishments employing 50 workers or more Decision Making: Improving the customer journey by noting their feedback and suggestions regarding the labour accommodation system and its amenities and associated services.
