Tawteen 360 Student Forum

The Tawteen 360 Student Forum is an interactive platform that brings students and private sector companies together with the aim of keeping them abreast of the labor market updates and familiarizing them with the world’s best practices in the private sector and the future occupations in the UAE’s vital sectors, enabling Emirati students and youth to be aware of the importance of working in the private sector.

The forum features a package of innovative awareness and motivation activities and is aimed at guiding the Emirati participants from the professional viewpoint and familiarizing them with the labor market needs. The Emirati students are participating in 6 major stations and streams:

Discovery of professional abilities and tendencies station where students are subjected to an assessment of their professional tendencies and are given access to the professional planning hall to familiarize them with the required tools and the most important keys for planning their future career.

Skill development station through which students participate in interactive training workshops aimed at refining their skills, developing their competencies and preparing them for future jobs with the participation of a group of international companies.

‘Tawteen Talks’ station, which familiarizes students with the most important labor market updates and inspiring professional experiences.

Self-employment station, which is aimed at spreading the self-employment culture and motivating Emirati cadres to take self-employment as a vital career path through a number of interactive workshops.

Through the Wajehni station, Emirati students are briefed on field and summer training opportunities at a number of major private companies. They also meet with officials from some private companies and establishments and are familiarized with the work environment in the private sector.

Students will also participate in the ‘Future Station’, which highlights the future occupations, jobs and skills in the strategic sectors. They will also be given the opportunity to participate in this station through simulation and interactive experiences.

Tawteen services station, which highlights the most important services offered by the MOHRE to job seekers such as employment services, training and skill development services and career guidance and counselling services.

  • Familiarizing students and job seekers with the MOHRE’s Tawteen-related services.

Service:

Familiarizing school and university students with the private sector’s promising skills, occupations and privileges and the importance of planning for their careers in the economic sectors and Tawteen-targeted occupations.
