His Excellency Nasser bin Thani Al Hamli, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratization, and His Excellency Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Emirati Human Resources Development Council in Dubai, discussed ways and mechanisms of coordination and cooperation between the Ministry and the Council that contribute to strengthening national efforts to achieve Emiratization goals.

During the meeting, which was held in Dubai, Al Hamli and Al Mansouri discussed the objectives, competencies, and tasks with which the Council is entrusted. The most important of these is the formulation of strategic directions for the development of human resources for Emiratis in the private sector, the development of strategic plans and action plans, as well as proposing and reviewing policies and laws that ensure the achievement of the desired goals from the establishment of the council or that affect the development of Emirati human resources in the private sector.

His Excellency Nasser bin Thani Al Hamli said that the establishment of Emirati Human Resources Development Council in Dubai once again reflects the support and care of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, for the Emiratisation file.

He pointed out that the follow-up and directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council, and His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, contribute effectively to supporting this vital file.

Al Hamli added that the challenges facing the Emiratisation file require concerted efforts to empower and develop national human resources, provide them with appropriate jobs in the labor market, prepare them for future jobs, and attract and support national competencies to lead the economic sectors.

His Excellency Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri stressed the need to coordinate efforts in an integrated manner that contributes to achieving outstanding employment results, investing national energies in the Emirate of Dubai and cooperating with employers in strategic sectors of the private sector to increase the percentage of Emiratis working there, develop programs and guidelines for guidance and career planning as well as counseling programs for Emiratis to increase the rate of engagement and participation in the private sector labor market.

The two sides agreed to coordinate efforts and follow-up in a way that ensures the achievement of the results that our wise leadership aspires to.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Nasser Abdullah bin Kharbash, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation for Emiratisation Affairs, His Excellency Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falas, Vice convener of the UAE Human Resources Development Council, His Excellency Noura Al Marzouqi, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation for Strategy and Policies, and His Excellency Muhammad Saqr Al Nuaimi, Undersecretary of the Ministry Human Resources and Emiratisation Assistant for Support Services Affairs.
