Crescent" "Human Resources and Emiratisation" offers 1000 gifts to refugee camps children

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation recently gave 1000 gift bags for children in refugee camps as part of the Ministry's initiative ' with all the love from the UAE' in cooperation with the UAE Red Crescent in Dubai Festival City.

Mary Majid Bin Thaniah, Director of Government Communication Department at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation said:  "The initiative 'with much love from the UAE' is driven by the ministry's keenness to carry out its social role and active participation in strengthening the position of the UAE as a supporter of humanitarian initiatives and projects."  

” The initiative aimed to address the children of the refugee camps and send a message of love to them from the UAE. It seeks to make them happy through the gifts collected from the community members who interacted with this initiative. The government communication department in the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation received the Sharjah Government Communications Award 2019 for this initiative under the category of the best practice in social responsibility at the level of the GCC and the Arab world.” She added.

She commended the active role of the UAE Red Crescent in the initiative's success and the delivery of gifts to children living in refugee camps in several countries.

Mr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Haj Al Zarooni, Director of the UAE Red Crescent Branch in Dubai, expressed his appreciation for this humanitarian initiative which comes within the framework of the initiatives of Year of Tolerance. It is a true expression of partnership and integration between the institutions and ministries to achieve leadership and excellence in humanitarian work and a civilized example that reflects the spirit of social responsibility to support global humanitarian issues. Refugees and their support come as the most urgent priorities that need concerted efforts to ease their humanitarian suffering and protect their human dignity.
