Al Awar discusses ways to strengthen small and medium enterprises with Emirati entrepreneurs

His Excellency Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratization, discussed with a group of entrepreneurs’ proposals to develop the Ministry's services for entrepreneurship in the country.

This came during a meeting held recently at the office of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization in Dubai, in the presence of His Excellency Saif Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources Affairs, and a number of officials from the ministry.

His Excellency reiterated the Ministry's readiness to support Emirati entrepreneurs in implementing a package of government initiatives aimed at empowering young Emiratis with small and medium enterprises and motivating Emirati cadres towards entrepreneurship and leadership in this strategic sector, which is considered an important contributor to the national economy and supporting the competitiveness of the state, and a key pillar in achieving the fifty goals.

During the meeting, His Excellency Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Awar praised Emirati entrepreneurs and their efforts to manage their small and medium enterprises to be competitive in the market, according to the nature of their business.

His Excellency discussed a number of proposals with those present, stressing that the Ministry is keen to promote the journey of entrepreneurs so that they can receive services easily and quickly.

He pointed out that the ministry will implement initiatives and measures to promote and support Emirati entrepreneurs in the best possible way 

within the framework of the state work system and in coordination with local government bodies.

For their part, the entrepreneurs expressed their pleasure for attending the meeting, which allowed them to present their challenges and directly contribute their suggestions, which would facilitate the development of their small and medium enterprises.

They stressed the importance of the government's efforts to support and develop the projects of entrepreneurs, especially in light of the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, and to encourage their participation and contribution to the development of the national economy.
