Human Resources & Emiratization launch smart maps system to ensure establishments’ compliance

As part of a series of innovative initiatives and projects, the Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratization (MoHRE) has launch a smart maps system to help raise the efficiency of inspecting registered establishments.

As part of a series of innovative initiatives and projects, the Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratization (MoHRE) has launch a smart maps system to help raise the efficiency of inspecting registered establishments.

Maher Al Obad, Deputy Undersecretary of the MoHRE for Inspection Affairs, said: “The new system comes as part of the Ministry’s plan to develop its operations and systems in line with the smart government standards, in order to meet its customers’ expectations and ensure their happiness through the provision of high-quality services.

“The newly launched scheme will help improve the inspection process, by displaying information about establishments located in near a Ministry inspector, who is able to review all their details electronically. This provides the inspector with a full picture about establishments that are due for an inspection.”

He added that the innovative system combines all necessary elements that enable inspections, including stats about the number of employees and nature of activities in establishments. This will help inspectors plan their visits and what areas to focus on.

Al Obad explained that smart maps system cuts down on travel time, as it organizes inspection visits according to companies’ geographical locations. This help the Ministry save time and energy, in addition to providing inspectors with the necessary information through an interactive map that displays the number of companies and where workforce is located.

He concluded by highlighting advantages of the new system including enhancing the value of existing data by integrating geographical information to help paint a better picture about companies and job market. It is also able to display details about registered companies, such as number of employees, types of economic activities, and geographical location, in order to help inspectors make well-informed decisions on companies to review.
