MOHRE signs nine memorandums of understanding under Absher initiative

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) has signed nine memorandums of understanding with a number of government entities and private establishments for the provision of a package of exclusive privileges for Emiratis working in the private sector as part of the ‘Absher’ initiative.

This came during a ceremony organized recently at the ministry’s Diwan in Dubai in the presence of HE Nasser Bin Thani Al Hamli, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation.

As part of the Absher initiative, more than 800 exclusive offers and discounts are provided to the Emiratis working in the private sector by government and private partners.

Al Hamli praised the efforts of the ministry’s partners as well as their great interaction with the Absher initiative, which would motivate the national human resources and encourage them to take up the jobs available in various economic sectors and also empower them in their jobs.

In his speech during the ceremony, Al Hamli pointed out that the partnerships emanating from Absher reflect the keenness of all concerned parties on shouldering their national and social responsibilities for bolstering the Emiratis’ participation in the private sector, this being the ideal sector for employing national human resources.

Al Hamli affirmed that the ministry strives to expand the base of Absher partners by concluding more partnerships and consequently offering new packages of excellent privileges to the Emiratis working in the private sector.

The memorandums of understanding were signed for the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation by Farida Al Ali, Assistant Undersecretary of National Human Resources Employment, and for the other entities by  Hamad Buamim, Director General of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Essa Mohammed Al Bastaki, President of University of Dubai, Abdulmonem Bin Eisa Bin Nasser Al Serkal, Managing Director of Al Serkal Group, and Ahmed Ali, Executive Director of Mediclinic Group.

They were also signed by James Britchford. Vice President Commercial India Middle East & Africa at InterContinental Hotels Group, Eng. Tariq Ahmed Al Wahedi, Chief Executive Officer at Agthia Group, Bilal Fares, Vice President of Adidas, Marwa Abdullah Al Mansoori, Executive Director of MALENA App, and Florence Dubois, Chief Brand & Communication Officer of Jumeirah Group.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation provides ‘Absher card’ to the Emiratis working in the private sector, who can benefit from the advantages offered by the card by presenting it to the program partners.

Additionally, the ministry provides through its website and Absher smart app in Google Play Store and Apple Store an updated list of the program’s partners and all their exclusive offers to the Emirati card holders.
