Description
The Ministry of Human Resources and
Emiratization has launched the “National Program to Support the Stability of
the Labour Market in the Private Sector” which aims to ensure continuity of
business in private sector establishments in light of the application of the
precautionary measures at the country level, within the work system of the
federal and local government to confront the “Emerging Corona Virus” and reduce
its spread, and stabilize the labour market and provide full protection for the
both parties of production. The program is prepared by the Ministry in
coordination with the National Emergency and Crisis Management Authority in
addition to other government authorities. The Ministry has launched awareness
raising initiatives packages and financial support and administrative support
packages for the establishments. The Ministry has also launched virtual labour
market platform and the smart system for resolving labour disputes in addition
to the electronic form as a temporary attachment to the labour contract to
support employers and employees in the private sector including citizens and
residents, and resolve the challenges of ensuring protection of wages for
workers registered in the private sector in an integrated manner while supporting
the stability of the labour market and continuity of business for all concerned
parties, as part of the efforts to mitigate the impacts of the precautionary
measures to limit the spread of the emerging Coronavirus on the national
economy of UAE. This program targets employers and all employees in the private
sector with decisions and initiatives
implemented by the Ministry. The implementation of this campaign comes in
parallel with the continuity of the work of inspection teams.

This advice aims to monitor
opinions and proposals to develop mechanisms, initiatives and programs supporting
the national program that supports the stability of the labour market, and to
provide the best regulations, legislations and services to the concerned in the
labour market.
