Based on the keenness of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation to involve the public in developing and improving its services and policies, topics are periodically raised on the website sharik.ae

Virtual Labour Market Platform

Description

In compliance with the series of preventive and precautionary measures that are adopted in the United Arab Emirates in order to deal with the new coronavirus (Covid 19), the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization has built in a comprehensive system to protect labour rights and ensure the interests of employers, as well as to provide alternative options for those who were affected by the virus outbreak. According to the Ministerial Order 279-2020 Article 3, the Ministry has developed a virtual labour market platform to register the data of establishments that have excess in numbers of non-local employees who are permitted to work on the website careers.mohre.gov.ae to support the needs of the labour market in light of the cessation of recruitment from outside the country. In a condition that its commitment to those workers remains in place in terms of accommodation and the fulfilment of all their entitlements (except wages) until they leave the country or obtain a permission to work in another establishment. The platform enables employers to recruit workers within the country and select the suitable candidates according to their requirements in the available jobs and to offer vacancies during the suspension of recruitment from outside the country.
