• Objective and subject: Description The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has developed the second edition of the Labour Accommodation System - the first national platform for registering and showcasing accommodations that meet the standards and requirements of the Ministry and its strategic partners in both the federal and local sectors across the country. Link: https://la.mohre.gov.ae/#/auth/login The system aims to enhance the quality of life and well-being of workers in the UAE and ensure that labour accommodations comply with the regulations stipulated in Cabinet Resolution No. (13) of 2009 approving the General Standards Manual for Group Labour Accomodation and Related Services, for accommodations housing 500 or more workers. It also adheres to Ministerial Resolution No. (212) of 2014, which outlines the standards for labour accommodations designed to house fewer than 500 workers. It also aims to guide employers in complying with Ministerial Resolution No. 44 of 2022 and Ministerial Resolution No. 516 of 2024, while identifying opportunities for improvement based on feedback from all users. Objective: To measure the awareness level among labour accommodation owners and employers, and to gather feedback and suggestions from users about the Labour Accommodation System and all related services. Additionally, to understand their opinions and identify any challenges they face within the system, if present.
